Summer Camp

Northridge Day Camp

For boys & girls aged 7-12. Each morning at 7:30 AM, our bus leaves our church in Newmarket for the sandy shores of Lake Simcoe. Once there, our campers experience the full adventure of an extraordinary day camp, on an extraordinary facility. A great experience at a remarkable price. The Blaze (7-10)

Experience the warmth of God’s blazing love for you. At The Blaze, campers participate in a six-day overnight camp program staying in cabins under the caring supervision of trained Cabin Leaders. The camp is operates out of The Salvation Army’s camp facility located in Jackson’s Point, Ontario and operates weekly from Monday to Saturday through July and August. Here campers enjoy swimming in a heated pool, archery, nature trails, sports, canoeing on Lake Simcoe, crafts, campfires and a Bible program. All camp activities are led by qualiied staff. The Pursuit (11-12)

A searching for who God is in His Creation. At The Pursuit, campers experience an introductory adventure program where they begin to develop their outdoor living skills. During their six-day overnight stay campers gain team-building experience through a series of opportunities ranging from a challenging ropes program, canoeing on Skeleton Lake, participation in overnight camp-outs and through experiencing daily learning through Biblical program and devotions. The Pursuit operates out of The Salvation Army’s Camp Newport and is located in Muskoka off the shores of Lake Skeleton, just west of Huntsville, Ontario. The Quest (13-14)

An expedition seeking after God in His creation. The Quest is a six-day overnight moderate adventure program where campers will continue to build upon their outdoor living skills while enjoying trails through pine forests, nightly campfires, swimming in the clear water of Skeleton Lake and a daily look at the Bible through program and devotions. The Quest operates out of The Salvation Army’s Camp Newport and is located in Muskoka off the shores of Lake Skeleton, just west of Huntsville, Ontario. The Edge (15-17)

A sharpening of one’s relationship with God through adventure in His creation. The Edge is a six-day overnight extreme adventure program where campers will enjoy rock-climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, hiking trails and a daily look at the Bible through program and devotions. Campers will put their outdoor living skills to the test on a three day out trip. The Edge operates out of The Salvation Army’s Camp Newport and is located in Muskoka off the shores of Lake Skeleton, just west of Huntsville, Ontario.
